According to a company press release, BASF is raising its prices in Europe for high-grade specialty amines, which are starting materials for various intermediates. Unless existing contracts state otherwise, the price increases for ethyl-, propyl- and butylamine will have immediate effect. The price increase is due to the increased cost of handling, logistics, and raw materials.
