Date:09-12-2008
The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) is seeking information on the identity and quantity of nanomaterials imported or manufactured for use in agrochemicals in 2008. The information will provide the Authority with a better understanding of nanomaterials on the market or close to commercialisation in Australia and ensure adequate regulation, the APVMA points out. Nanomaterials are defined as having at least one dimension of 100 nm or less. The information must be submitted by December 12th.
