Australia to approve BASF’s fungicide ametoctradin

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has proposed to approve triazolopyrimidine fungicide ametoctradin, which is one of the active ingredient (ai) in BASF’s fungicide Zampro®, the other ai in this product is the existing registered dimethomorph. Zampro® is for use on grapevines. BASF received registration of ametoctradin for control of potato blight in UK in 2010. Public comment will be closed until July 31st.
