Redsun’s first-half sales up 34%

Chinese agrochemical company Redsun recorded sales of Yuan 3,120 million ($457.4 million) in the first half of 2008, an increase of 34% on the same period last year. Profits were up 15% to Yuan 117 million ($17.2 million). The group’s foreign trade was valued at $87.1 million, reflecting a rise of 36%. The company aims to “increase co-operation with the world’s five biggest pesticide corporations, speed up international registration of pesticide products and increase the volume of exports”. Redsun Group currently holds 500 product registrations and exports to around 100 countries globally.
