ISO adopts 2 more pesticide names from Japan

The ISO Technical Committee on Common Names has provisionally approved two new names of pesticides developed by Japanese companies, according to the Compendium of Pesticide Common Names. It has adopted Hokko Chemical Industry’s triazole anilide herbicide, ipfencarbazone, and Otsuka Chemical’s thiazolidine fungicide, flutianil. They are the fifth and sixth new names to be adopted this year.
