BASF to invest over US$233 million in crop protection
Date:08-01-2008
Skyrocketing demand for pesticides has spurred BASF to announce investment plans of more than US$233 million to expand its crop protection production facilities. The investments, to take place over two years, are in addition to the more than $140 million already earmarked for investments in pesticides factories in 2008.
BASF will increase output capacity at sites in Germany, France, Brazil, and the US for crop chemicals such as F 500, boscalid, Fipronil, and metazachlor.
