FMC is one step closer to bringing biocontrol solutions to European farmers.

The EU has approved two of FMC's proprietary microbial strains with a ″low risk″ status—meaning streamlined registration timelines for new products.

 

These strains are the active ingredients in some of FMC's trusted biocontrol products like Ataplan™ biofungicide, Provilar™ biofungicide and Forenia™ biofungicide, which have demonstrated their effectiveness in other regions of the world, protecting crops and promoting healthier plants naturally.

This milestone brings FMC closer to delivering biocontrol solutions to European farmers—driving sustainability and advancing biological innovation in agriculture. 

Ataplan™ biofungicide, Provilar™ biofungicide and Forenia™ biofungicide are not registered for sale or use in the EU. No offer for sale or use of these products is permitted prior to the issuance of the required registrations by the relevant regulatory entity.
