Dr. Rob Fetter joins Kynetec as Global Sustainability Lead

Kynetec, a global leader in data, analytics and insights in agriculture, animal health & nutrition, is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Rob Fetter as its Global Sustainability Lead. 

This newly created position underscores Kynetec’s commitment to spearheading the development of a forward-thinking Sustainability Practice strategy, driving innovation and collaboration to meet the growing demand for sustainable data and analytics solutions across the agriculture value chain.

Rob brings over two decades of expertise in sustainability and environmental strategy, with a track record of delivering transformative solutions in agriculture and food systems.

In addition to strategy development, Rob will focus on building a high-performing team dedicated to aligning sustainability efforts with Kynetec’s Commercial Excellence principles. His efforts will ensure seamless coordination across the company’s operations, from project management to marketing, while addressing the needs of both existing and new sustainability-focused clients.

Rob’s impressive credentials include a PhD in Environmental Economics and Policy from Duke University, North Carolina, along with degrees from Yale University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Prior to joining Kynetec, he served as a Principal Consultant at Environmental Resources Management (ERM), the world’s largest pure-play sustainability firm, where he led climate and sustainability advisory services for the agriculture sector globally.

Operating from his home office in Durham, North Carolina, Rob will report to Kynetec’s Chief Operating Officer for Agriculture. His leadership will play a key role in shaping Kynetec’s sustainability agenda and ensuring the company continues to meet and exceed market demands.
