AgriGro presents FoliarBlend to the European market

The North American input company AgriGro presented its plant nutrition product FoliarBlend to the European market during Agromek 2024. 

According to the manufacturer, FoliarBlend is a dual-action solution that optimizes crop health and yield.

FoliarBlend is composed of a mix of Urea, Boric acid, Cobalt chloride hexahydrate, Manganese sulfate monohydrate, Ammonium molybdate, and Zinc sulfate monohydrate. 

"Applied to growing crops, it rapidly delivers essential plant nutrition, triggering beneficial microbial growth and converting insoluble soil nutrients into a usable form. This enhances fertilizer uptake, ensuring farmers get the most value," AgriGro explained.

Additionally, they said, when applied through the plant's leaf surface, FoliarBlend acts as a rapid absorption boost, fortifying the plant's defense system and improving resilience against adverse conditions. "Timely applications during key crop stages result in higher yields and improved crop quality," complements the North American company.

Among the benefits of FoliarBlend, AgriGro highlighted that the product "Improves plant growth and vigor, supports plant and soil health, supports healthy root and stalk development, supports sufficient water uptake and absorption, improves nutrient uptake and utilization, increases crop quality and yield, increases beneficial microbial activity up to 5000% within 24 – 48 hours of application".

According to the manufacturer, with a dosage of 1 to 2 pints per acre, FoliarBlend can be applied through standard ground or aerial application equipment and standard irrigation or fertigation systems. FoliarBlend may be mixed with most herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and liquid fertilizers. "When mixing FoliarBlend with other chemistries, always do a jar test to ensure compatibility," AgriGro said.

When FoliarBlend is applied to growing crops, the manufacturer said, the ingredients provide "essential plant nutrition in a rapidly absorbed chelated form and trigger natural biological processes that create an explosion of beneficial microbial growth. The increased enzymatic and microbial activity works to release insoluble nutrients in the soil and convert them to a soluble form plants can utilize. By improving the availability and uptake of applied fertilizers, FoliarBlend helps 'get what you're paying for' out of the soil and into the plant."
