Nick Gooch, CEO and founder of Pangaea Biosciences Ltd. has just had the pleasure of attending the 5th Ag Formulation & Application Technology Congress (FAT 2024) from November 26-27 in Hangzhou, China. Firstly, he says, a big thank you and commendation to the organisers, Agropages, for a superbly run and most professional program.
Nick opened his presentation with the threat to food security posed by pest, weed and disease resistance to crop protection products (CPP's) and presented the journey he has been on over the last 12 years bringing a patented research platform discovered in Rothamsted Research in the UK to a commercial position in Europe and a readiness to roll it out in the rest of the world.
He talked about the two Pangaea flagship technologies, Tardis™ and Booster™ and shared a range of results from both Europe and Asia where together these products control insect and weed resistance allowing CPP's to regain control of insect and weed infestations.
Such was the excitement generated in the room, Nick's long term business partner and friend Taylor Liu, who finished the session with a summary in Chinese was mobbed by delegates wanting to get in touch. Similar expressions of interest came immediately from companies operating in the USA, and other parts of Asia.
For more information on these crop saving technologies please contact Nick at nick@pangaeabiosciences.com or Roger Pinder, Pangaea’s global business development consultant at roger@pangaeabiosciences.com
