The Innovation and Technology Pavilion was one of the great novelties of AgroBrasília 2024, where AgroPages was able to see a dynamic space with an intense program that included pitches, business rounds, and special lectures. The fair organizer, the Cooperativa Agropecuária da Região do Distrito Federal (COOPA-DF), provided space for several startups to present their solutions for the agriculture of the future.
According to Lydia Costa, pavilion coordinator, a total of 29 companies were involved in making this project happen, 20 of which were startups and 9 companies. "We implemented the Pavilion based on Agribusiness' need to have a specific space to present recent technologies developed for the efficiency and optimization of processes in agribusiness," she explained.
The space, with over 400m², allowed the promotion of networking and business generation through connections with investors, company managers, and professionals in the area of technology and innovation. "The pavilion became an effective space to boost the work of the sector by providing opportunities for integration between the sectors involved, bringing research to rural producers and ensuring that these innovations are actually used by farmers," highlights Lydia.
According to the coordinator, those who visited the space had the opportunity to see up close innovative solutions in precision agriculture, connectivity, sensing, intelligent monitoring, nanotechnologies, bioinputs, property management, biotechnologies and artificial intelligence that are revolutionizing the sector.
The Pavilion was supported by companies of biological inputs such as SoluBio. "Our main goal was to integrate the sectors, bringing research to rural producers and ensuring that these innovations are actually used by farmers," explained Rose Monnerat, Director of Research, Development and Innovation at SoluBio, co-manager of the project.
The Director also detailed that the Pavilion brought "perspectives on new projects, courses, and services from Soluscience, in the GAAS space, with samples of innovations for microalgae in sustainable agriculture."
There was also an exclusive stand dedicated to the production of OnFarm bioinputs, with the presentation of results, the exhibition of samples of beneficial microorganisms for agriculture. "We showed a complete portfolio of news about nutritional solutions that do not interfere with biological management and use the exclusive BioElo Technology," said Monnerat.
She also highlighted the GAAS space, where Biotecland, a SoluBio affiliate company focused on innovations for microalgae in sustainable agriculture, presented samples, success stories, and information about Primafert, an innovative product based on Chlorella sp.
