Two new pesticide common names have recently been approved by ISO.
Bisulflufen
Bisulflufen is a new common name approved for an acaricide from Jiangsu Yangnong Chemical Co. The Chinese common name is 氟螨双醚.
2,2′-difluoro-4,4′-dimethyl-5,5′-bis[(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)thio]-1,1′-biphenyl [1922957-45-6]
No objections have been received to the name ″bisulflufen″, so it has become approved and will be included in the March 2025 update of the XML data set that is available to everyone who purchases ISO 1750:2023.
Pioxaniliprole
Pioxaniliprole is a new common name approved for a pyridylpyrazole insecticide from PI Industries Ltd.
N-[4-chloro-2-[[(1,1-dimethylethyl)amino]carbonyl]-6-methylphenyl]-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-3-[(1,1-dioxido-3-thietanyl)oxy]-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxamide [2368920-61-8]
