Australian pesticide recall on hold
Date:06-05-2008
The Australian Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) has ordered a temporary stay of the recall of 52 agrochemical products supplied by Imtrade Australia. The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) ordered the recall because Imtrade supplied false information in its registration applications. The APVMA says that it recognises the uncertainty that the AAT decision will have on the supply trade.
