NewLeaf Symbiotics, an innovative agricultural leader focused on sustainable biotechnology, announced the appointments of Nicole Phillips, Vice President – Marketing, and Lon Kreger, Senior Director – International Business Development.
With the addition of these experienced professionals, NewLeaf Symbiotics continues progress on its ambitious growth plan.
Phillips joins NewLeaf following significant marketing leadership roles on both corporate and agency teams for brands such as Nutrien Ag Solutions, DEKALBAsgrow, Volkswagenof America and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey.
Phillips is a results–driven marketer who has led award–winning creative campaigns while over–delivering against key performance indicators. Driven by a passion for agriculture, she comes to NewLeaf with a desire to tell the story of the sustainable technologies that will help farmers feed a growing population.
Kreger has spent more than a decade in international business development, from multi-national corporations like Bayer and Nutrien to growth–stage companies. Having managed teams on four continents, he has added almost a quarter billion dollars or revenue growth through the creation of multi-channel distribution models, clarifying channel alignment and partnership engagement. Averaging a dozen product launches in as many countries per year, Kreger focuses on empowering local assets with real P&L, which has led to dramatic profit increases.
″As we position ourselves for rapid growth, we are excited to bring on the deep and proven skill sets of Nicole and Lon,″ said Brent Smith, President of NewLeaf Symbiotics. ″Sharing the story of our technology and introducing it in more markets globally will create impact not only for our company but for partners seeking to provide higher efficacy and more sustainable potential to their customers.″
″I am thrilled to join NewLeaf,″ said Phillips. ″This technologyprovides a solution for many of the challenges facing the ag industry. Telling the story of the impact that is possible not only around yield increase but also soil, water and air quality is a unique opportunity. I’m excited to increase the awareness around the benefits NewLeaf brings to a partner organization and ultimately to the acre.″
″NewLeaf is delivering strong results in North America,″ said Kreger. ″There is great opportunity to bring our technology to global markets and create even broader impact. I’m excited to represent NewLeaf as we continue to expand our go–to–market strategies within the international agricultural community.″
NewLeaf Symbiotics continues its commitment to attracting top talent and strongly positioning itself for growth.
With these two appointments, NewLeaf Symbiotics is well-positioned to advance its growth initiatives and create strong traction in the agricultural biotechnology industry.
