The Brazilian agricultural machinery, solutions and services multinational, Jacto, presented several solutions for the intelligent spraying of agrochemicals during the Bahia Farm Show 2023, which were seen by AgroPages.
Jacto showcased its digital agriculture equipment, such as an autonomous vehicle for spraying pesticides that allows the plant to be scanned for intelligent application depending on size, to achieve greater savings on inputs.
Marcos Gozzi, specialist in precision agriculture at Jacto, said the company is exhibiting a set of tools that collect, store, analyze and share agricultural data online.
Uniport family
In terms of spraying, the news focuses on the Uniport family of self-propelled sprayers. Uniport 3030 and Uniport 4530 received a new version of the transmission system, which offers fuel savings of up to 20% under specific application conditions.
Starting this year, models are available with the PWM system option, offering even more uniform spraying, even with machine speed variation. With the integration of the nozzle-to-nozzle system, PWM automatically controls pressure, allowing improved management of spraying operations.
In addition, the Uniport 2030 model has been improved with Multicontrol spraying technology and now also utilizes transmission system automation. This improvement not only enhances the operator's driving experience but also helps reduce fuel consumption.
Innovation in portable equipment
Jacto presented the new battery-powered sprayer, Jacto SB, a sales success due to its flexibility and practicality in the field, and Jacto DJB-S, a battery-powered doser and sprayer, which can adjust doses between 5 ml and 500 ml, and generate an operations report when connected to a smartphone. Both have a 3-year warranty.
Another highlight of this line was Jacto PJM-25, a motorized sprayer with a working pressure of up to 360 psi, a 4-stroke engine (35 ccs), and a flow rate of up to 10 L/min. This equipment brings power and performance for high-performance spraying with wide coverage.
″For Jacto, participating in the Bahia Farm Show is extremely important, due to the relevance of the region. It is an area with professional agriculture that widely uses technologies and machinery on farms. In addition, its climate, soil and topography are extremely favorable for cultivation,″ said Marcos Aukar, Jacto's national sales manager.
″We have a lot to contribute to farmers in the region in terms of mechanized farming and management solutions and, above all, helping reduce operating costs, adding value in business management, and maximizing crop productivity,″ he added.
