Clean Seed Capital Group Ltd. (“Clean Seed” or the “Company”) (TSX-V: CSX) announced that it will partner with Canada West Harvest Centre (“CAWHC”) to promote the SMART Seeder MAX™. CAWHC is a five-store agricultural equipment dealer in Saskatchewan geographically covering key agricultural producing areas of the province we have targeted for the SMART Seeder MAX™. CAWHC is owned by OEM agricultural brand CLAAS, one of the most highly reputable brands in the industry. The first CAWHC location opened in 2014 as part of CLAAS of America’s growth strategy to provide high level service and support to its customers. The SMART Seeder MAX™ will be the first precision seeding equipment carried by CAWHC since its launch in 2014.
Mike Malmgren, General Manager of Canada West Harvest Centre states, “We are very pleased with this opportunity to work with Clean Seed. As we explored this decision and got to know Colin and his Saskatoon based team, their commitment to being leaders in the seeding industry shone through immediately. Further, the SMART Seeder MAX™ is easily one of the most innovative seeding tools to emerge in our market as it will provide unmatched agronomic benefits to drive increased financial returns for agricultural producers.
Clean Seed has done the work to create a product that has the capabilities to drive a step-change in seeding and planting. We look forward to being in the field this spring to start demonstrating the value of this revolutionary seeding tool to our customer base and to grow consumer interest in Saskatchewan for the 2023 SMART Seeder MAX™ and subsequent model years. Clean Seed is a group of passionate ag equipment professionals with industry leading technology. Naturally their product line is a perfect complement to our existing CLAAS lineup.”
Colin Rush, President states, “We are very pleased with this partnership because CAWHC represents one of the most progressive, precision agricultural equipment dealers in Western Canada with a tremendous legacy built on customer support and experience with their core brand CLAAS.
With Saskatchewan having almost 40% of the total crop land area in Canada this partnership is the gateway for Clean Seed to access the majority of Saskatchewan for sales, support, and service of our technology. The SMART Seeder™ MAX family represents a quantum leap forward providing producers with the technology to greatly reduce input costs and drive crop yields, all in parallel with our environmentally sustainable approach to the seeding and planting process.
We look forward to starting our Saskatchewan based customer demonstration program with CAWHC in April 2022 which will lay the groundwork for the SMART Seeder MAX customer base in Saskatchewan along with the parallel growth of CLAAS’ high horsepower Xerion tractor line. Concurrently, Clean Seed will be initiating its Alberta demonstration program and will shortly thereafter open its order program for the 2023 SMART Seeder MAX.”
