Quali-Pro announces Suprado receives U.S. EPA registration

Quali-Pro announced Suprado insecticide has received EPA registration. The new product features a new class of chemistry, with a unique mode of action for ABW control. Powered by the insect growth regulator Novaluron, Suprado controls ABW in as little as one application, reducing the need for ongoing applications of multiple chemistries.
 
Suprado represents the first time Novaluron (IRAC Group 15) is available for use in turf.  Novaluron is a chitin synthesis inhibitor and the active ingredient interferes with the ability of the insect to produce chitin, an important part of the exoskeleton.
