Andermatt Biocontrol has received Swedish and Israeli registration for its bioinsecticide Madex Top.
Based on a Cydia pomonella granulovirus (CpGV) isolate selected for resistance management, Madex Top will be used in pome fruit orchards to control codling moth (Cydia pomonella).
By using Madex Top, conventional and organic farmers alike have been managing the codling moth in a long-lasting and sustainable way, reducing the codling moth population and damage in their orchards, for years.
Madex Top leaves zero residues and is absolutely harmless to non-target organisms.
With Sweden and Israel, Madex Top is now registered in 16 countries.
