DuPont seeks US Rynaxypyr EUP (experimental use permit) for termites
Date:10-26-2007
DuPont has applied to the US EPA for an experimental use permit (EUP) to test its insecticide, Rynaxypyr (chlorantraniliprole), for the control of termites. The company plans to use 125 litres of a 200 g/litre suspension concentrate formulation on or around 110 residential structures. The testing would take place between November 1st 2007 and November 30th 2009 across ten states. DuPont received its first approval for chlorantraniliprole in the Philippines this year, as Prevathon. Registrations in the US and some other markets are expected next year.
