Agrium breaks ground on new U.S. Office in Loveland, Colorado
Date:07-26-2016
Agrium Inc. officially broke ground July 7 on Rangeview V – a four-storey, 120,000-square-foot office building in Loveland, Colorado that will be home to the Company’s U.S. Corporate and Wholesale office employees.
“Agrium couldn’t be more excited to officially kick off the construction on what we believe will be an incredible office space,” says Michael R. Webb, Agrium’s Senior Vice President, Human Resources. “We’re creating a facility that’s functional, comfortable and well-equipped – and also integrates with and complements the surrounding community. It will truly be the Workplace of the Future.”
Agrium’s head office is in Calgary, Alberta, and its Retail Business Unit, known as Crop Production Services in North America, is headquartered in Rangeview IV – a building adjacent to the Rangeview V construction site. Agrium’s U.S. Wholesale and Corporate teams, currently spread across a tower in Denver and other Rangeview buildings, will be brought together in Rangeview V when the building opens during the second half of 2017.
“We’re excited about having all of our Colorado office employees within one campus, and Loveland is an excellent location,” adds Mr. Webb.
This is the second major real estate development for Agrium in the area in recent weeks, as the Company officially opened its state-of-the-art agricultural research facility in Greeley last month.
Rangeview V will have an open concept, and provide an assortment of flexible and collaborative spaces. It will feature such amenities as an on-site café, patio area and wellness center.
“This building will integrate the timelessness of agriculture into the cutting edge of architecture and interior design,” says Mr. Webb. “We’re confident Rangeview V will complement and greatly enhance the existing office campus and surrounding area.”
