Wynca won EU glyphosate anti-dumping lawsuit
Date:07-23-2009
Chinese manufacturer and export of glyphosate,
Zhejiang Xinan Chemical Industrial Group (
Wynca) has won the EU Glyphosate anti-dumping lawsuit. On 17 June 2009, the European Court of First Instance (CFI) made an adjudication, annulled a EU 29.9% dumping duty against Zhejiang Xinan Chemical Industrial Group (Wynca), stating that the EU had committed a manifest error of assessment in denying Wynca’s market economy status (MES) and in the setting of its export prices. Hence all the Wynca’s relevant expenses in this litigation will be borne by Council of the European Union according to CFI. It has taken Wynca four and a half years’ efforts to obtain this adjudication. The totally winning of this anti-dumping lawsuit enables Wynca become the only Chinese Glyphosate manufacturer who get the Glyphosate dumping duty cancelled in EU since EU began the anti-dumping investigation in 1995.
