Syngenta Crop Protection announced registration of Durivo – a systemic insecticide that protects vegetables from chewing and sucking insects as well as lepidopteran pests – by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the Texas Department of Agriculture, and the Arizona Department of Agriculture. Durivo is registered for use in vegetable crops, including leafy and fruiting vegetables, brassicas and cucurbits. Durivo contains two modes of action, chlorantraniliprole — a new mode of action from the diamide family of insecticides – and thiamethoxam, a member of the neonicotinoid class of chemistry.
