Mark Merlo Joins Engage Agro USA

Trevor Thorley, President of Engage Agro USA, has announced Mark A. Merlo is joining the company as Western crop sales manager, responsible for sales in California and the west coast. Merlo brings award-winning experience in sales business management from his tenure at United Phosphorus, Inc., where he also developed key relationships with national distributors of agricultural chemicals. Product acquisition, new product strategy and product development are additional areas in which Merlo has significant expertise that will be invaluable to Engage Agro.

Merlo's lengthy sales and management experience, with 29 years at FMC Corp., included responsibilities as regional sales manager, senior area manager and western account manager.

With his substantive executive experience, Merlo is uniquely positioned to impact Engage Agro USA's success, especially in expanding distributor relationships and making sales.

Acording to Trevor Thorley, "Mark is the ideal person to drive our success in launching and growing Engage's west coast crop business."

A graduate of Chico State University, Chico, CA, Merlo received his Bachelor's degree in Science of Agriculture.
