Bayer CropScience has been chosen by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology (IPT) to receive the Successful Practice Award as the company with the best targeted and efficient technology management in the sector in Europe, reports a company press release. The Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology, based in Aachen, questioned 170 European companies in a variety of sectors ranging from mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, aviation and space technology, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals. The results of the survey were presented recently in Aachen.
The Successful Practice Award was conferred on five European companies: Bayer CropScience, Beiersdorf AG, the Dr?xlmaier Group, Festo AG, and Weidmüller Interface GmbH & Co. KG.
