The Swiss agricultural products company, Intrachem, is to distribute Swedish company Lantmannen BioAgri's biopesticide seed treatments, Cedomon and Cerall, in Germany. Both products, which were approved in Germany in late October, are based on the bacterium, Pseudomonas chlororaphis. Cedomon is an oilseed-based formulation for the control of head blight (Fusarium spp), leaf stripe (Pyrenophora graminae) and net blotch (P teres) on barley. Cerall is a water-based formulation for the control of head blight on rye, wheat and triticale and for the control of leaf blotch (Septoria nodorum) and common bunt (Tilletia caries) on wheat.
