US extends comment time for fumigants

The US EPA has extended the public comment period on the re-registration eligibility decisions (REDs) for several soil fumigants following requests from groups representing users and manufacturers. The Agency issued the REDs for chloropicrin, dazomet, metam sodium/potassium and methyl bromide in July. It has extended the comment period by 45 days to October 30th.
