Meghmani Organics agrochemical sales dipped by 9% in 2011

Meghmani Organics (India) posted a 9.1% decrease in agrochemical sales to Rs.3973.83 million in the fiscal year ended March 31st 2012. Exports sales rose slightly by 1.9% to Rs.2824.76 million because of increase in sales quantity of technical acephate. Domestic sales were down by 28.2% to Rs.1149.07 million due to decrease in sale quantity of CPP 472 MT. The gross profit of agrochemical division decreased by 15.4% due to decrease in production of chlorpyriphos and cypermethrin and also due to increase in raw material prices of CPP and permethrin and GP margin decreased from 13.9% in FY 2011 to 13.0% in FY 2012.
