US sulfuramid registration review decision

The US EPA has concluded that no additional data are required to support the registration of sulfuramid-based termiticides during their phase-out. The proposed registration review decision for sulfuramid is open to public comment until September 22nd 2008. The Agency issued a cancellation order for the active ingredient earlier this year, with end-use product registrations due to expire on December 31st 2012. The product registrants, FMC and Chemisco, are allowed to sell existing stocks for one year after that date.
