German grain to increase 14%

According to Bloomberg.com, Germany's grain harvest is expected to expand 14% this year. The DRV agricultural group based its predictions on improved weather conditions and farmers sowing an additional 7%. The group went on to predict that German farmers could harvest 46.1 million metric tons of grain this year, compared with 40.5 million tons in 2007.
