Brazil is likely to become the biggest agrochemical market in the world, a major industry figure reportedly says. Marc Reichardt, president of Bayer CropScience Latin America, believes the country has the potential to jump from its position as the second-largest pesticide market in the world, the national business daily, Gazeta Mercantil, reports. He defends his bullish assessment saying that Brazil has a wide range of crops and its farmers are increasingly willing to use pesticides among other technology.
