BioWorks has received approval for Principle WP biological insecticide for use in the U.S. Registrations for all 50 states are anticipated, including California. Principle WP is a bioinsecticide based on the active ingredient Beauveria bassiana that delivers highly effective, resistance-free control on thrips, aphids, whiteflies, and more. The proprietary formulation is labeled for indoor and outdoor use, foliar spray, soil drench, dipping, and aerial applications.

"This news further expands our sustainable insect management solutions portfolio for commercial horticulture and specialty ag markets. We are thrilled to continue serving growers with excellence." Says Troy Bettner, VP of Sales and Technical Services.

BioWorks has two decades of experience implementing Beauveria bassiana in commercial operations and helping growers overcome the technical complexities of biological insect control programs.

Principle WP features a 4-hour Restricted Entry Interval (REI) and a 0-day Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI), making it a convenient option for growers. The product is exempt from residue tolerance, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards. Its mode of action offers effective control without the risk of developing resistance. Additionally, Principle WP is compatible with conventional pesticides and other biological products. It is also OMRI-listed.

Principle WP is now registered for use by the EPA and will be available soon. We will communicate on product availability as BioWorks moves through the state registration process.
