AgroPages-CAC Nantong Debuts on Shenzhen Stock Exchange-Agricultural news

On April 11, 2025, Chinese agrochemical company CAC Nantong Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ″CAC Nantong") made its debut on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's ChiNext board. On its first day of trading, the company's stock opened 338% higher than its issue price.

IPO Details

CAC Nantong issued 45 million new shares in this public offering, with an issue price of 10.27 yuan per share. The total funds raised from the issuance amounted to 462.15 million yuan, and after deducting issuance expenses, the net proceeds were 389.77 million yuan. These funds will be allocated to projects such as fungicides and a research and development center.

Company Profile

CAC Nantong is primarily engaged in the research, development, production, and sales of pesticide products and functional chemicals. The company holds a leading position in the industry for its three core products: chlorothalonil, azoxystrobin, and 2,4-D. In terms of production scale and comprehensive technology, CAC Nantong is at the forefront of the industry. The company has established long-term strategic partnerships with multinational corporations such as Syngenta, Dow, Nufarm, ADAMA, UPL, and Honeywell. Its export markets cover major regions globally, including South America, North America, Southeast Asia, and Europe.

Financial Performance

From 2022 to 2024, CAC Nantong achieved operating revenues of 5.099 billion yuan, 3.868 billion yuan, and 4.214 billion yuan, respectively. The company's net profit attributable to shareholders was 649 million yuan, 346 million yuan, and 261 million yuan during the same period. According to preliminary forecasts by the company's management, CAC Nantong expects its operating revenue for the first quarter of 2025 to increase by 0.63% to 11.22% year-over-year, while its net profit attributable to shareholders is projected to grow by 37.69% to 52.57%
