Embraer used this year's edition of the Show Safra fair to demonstrate, in practice, the superiority of spraying with its Ipanema 203 aircraft.
AgroPages was present at the event, which took place in Lucas do Rio Verde, in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, and observed 'in loco' the performance of the leading aircraft in sales in the Brazilian agricultural aviation market.
According to Embraer, the Ipanema 203 can spray the equivalent of four ground sprayers simultaneously. Powered by ethanol, the Brazilian company's agricultural aircraft can cover more than 200 hectares per hour.
Embraer stated that the Ipanema 203 provided "a consistent application at a constant speed, without soil compaction or pest spread through contact, resulting in an increase of 5 to 15 bags per hectare in the field."
"The agricultural sector is one of the main markets in the country, and we are ready to help our clients and operators boost their businesses," highlighted Sany Onofre, leader of Agricultural Aviation at Embraer.
According to Embraer, the Ipanema 203 is a comprehensive aircraft that combines technology, tradition, high productivity, and low operational cost.
Onofre also emphasized the importance of the region where Embraer's demonstration took place: "The Mato Grosso region is the largest grain producer in the country, with strategic crops such as soybeans, corn, and cotton, which are important commodities that require high efficiency and productivity." The ethanol-powered Ipanema 203 is a strong ally in optimizing these results, tailored to the needs of each crop.
According to the event organizers, over 150,000 people attended this edition of the Show Safra fair, which featured 525 exhibitors and included a runway within the park where demonstrations of spraying maneuvers with Embraer's Ipanema 203 were conducted.
