CIBO Technologies, the sustainability software company for agriculture, announced the industry's first open platform integration with third-party carbon and ecosystem services models. This innovative approach enables organizations managing sustainability programs for farmers to leverage the industry-leading CIBO Impact Platform for program development and delivery with CIBO's proprietary biogeochemical model, SALUS, or to utilize other preferred modeling solutions.
Agribusinesses, CPGs, and other program sponsors use different modeling approaches to measure environmental impact and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements. Scaling programs efficiently across different crops and regions adds another layer of complexity, often requiring the flexibility to integrate multiple models. CIBO's open platform addresses these challenges, simplifying program execution while supporting diverse reporting needs.
Programs can be easily configured on the CIBO platform to support various data collection criteria, ensuring seamless integration. CIBO will also collaborate with modeling companies and universities to align model input requirements with CIBO's inferred data engine and scaled analysis capabilities.
"Our partnerships over the last few years have established CIBO as the industry leader in managing and scaling sustainability programs for farmers," said Dan Ryan, CEO of CIBO. "With our new open approach, we enable our partners to choose the modeling solutions that work best for them, while benefiting from CIBO's powerful program management and incentive stacking capabilities. This allows them to simplify enrollment operations, improve reporting efficiency, and optimize costs—helping them achieve greater impact at scale."
