Founded in 2013 by Mike Calderón and Luis Fernando Arias, Greenfield emerged from a plant nutrition initiative aimed at ″boosting crop productivity with high-quality products, while strengthening the bond between farmers, the land, and technology.″

The company’s mission, they say, is to ″maximize crop profitability in Bolivia through innovative solutions, championing sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices.″ They envision a future where Bolivia earns global recognition as a benchmark for sustainable food production, showcasing its potential in food generation and rural development to the world.

Following extensive collaboration between teams from both companies, Greenfield has introduced Koppert Argentina’s biological technologies to the Bolivian market, including products like Rizokop (Bradyrhizobium japonicum), Azokop (Azospirillum brasilense), Nitrobac (Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus), and Koprotect (Biodegradable polymers with high hydrophilicity and components of carbohydrate origin).

″These products are designed to enhance crop nutrition and growth sustainably, delivering long-term benefits for both farmers and the environment. Through this partnership, both companies reaffirm their dedication to natural and efficient agriculture, providing tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of Bolivian farmland,″ Koppert Argentina stated.
