Averland® FC nematicide – a proven, high-performing solution in corn and cotton, provides growers with a convenient, in-furrow application to combat yield-robbing nematodes. Vive Crop Protection is seeking U.S. EPA approval to expand its label for use in soybeans, targeting Soybean Cyst Nematode (SCN). This expansion would bring soybean growers the same hassle-free, effective nematode protection that corn and cotton growers have come to trust.

Designed for ease of use and compatibility, Averland FC seamlessly integrates into liquid in-furrow programs, reducing handling complexity while maximizing active ingredient placement, delivering enhanced root health and improved plant vigor. Growers using Averland FC report better stand establishment, improved nutrient uptake, and increased yields, reinforcing its position as an essential tool for nematode management in row crops.

Building on this success in corn and cotton, Vive Crop Protection is now pursuing EPA approval to expand Averland FC’s label for use in soybeans, targeting soybean cyst nematode (SCN) and other yield-robbing nematodes such as root knot nematodes, through a liquid in-furrow application at planting. Years of extensive field trial research have shown strong, consistent results, and Vive anticipates approval in time for the 2026 growing season.

"Averland FC has been delivering exceptional results in corn and cotton for years, and growers appreciate having a liquid in-furrow nematicide that fits seamlessly into their planting operations," said Duane Canfield, Senior Product Manager at Vive Crop Protection. "Soybean growers battling cyst nematodes need a convenient, effective solution, and we’re excited to bring them the same proven performance that corn and cotton growers have already come to trust."

Pending approval, the soybean label expansion for Averland FC will further reinforce the company’s commitment to providing easy-to-use, targeted solutions for every acre.
