ICAR-IARI and UPL meeting organized for research collaborations

ICAR-IARI and UPL team interacted to explore the collaborations for technology development and transfer of technology to the farmers’ fields. The broad areas that emerged were to take up collaborative projects in the field of agro-chemicals, seeds, microbiome research, agro-machinery, farmers training, food processing, etc. It was also discussed to further the efforts of collaboration the R& D team of UPL could visit IAR and discussed one to one with the respective research groups of concerned fields.

Dr Ch Srinivasa Rao, Director, ICAR-IARI highlighted research, education and extension agenda of IARI and opportunities for collaborations in emerging research priorities. He also emphasized the placements opportunities for IARI students in agri industries. Heads of divisions presented various research themes of the respective divisions.

Mr Sagar Kaushik from UPL made presentation on company activities in India and abroad besides research and development opportunities for collaborations between ICAR-IARI and UPL.
