New common name provisionally approved on 5th February 2025 for a benzoylpyrazole herbicide from Shandong Binnong Technology Co. Ltd., Chinese common name 噁唑磺草酮.
4-[2-chloro-3-[(5-methyl-2-oxo-1,3,4-oxadiazol-3(2H)-yl)methyl]-4-(methylsulfonyl)benzoyl]-3-cyclopropyl-1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl 5-chloro-1,3-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylate [3023924-34-4]
Please contact the Maintenance Agency no later then 5th August 2025 for any objections (for example, the name ″prochlorosulfone″ infringes on any trademarks). If no objections are received, then the name ″prochlorosulfone″ will become approved and will be included in a new edition of ISO 1750 that will include preferred names as well as common names.
