Lavoro, Latin America's first agricultural input distributor to be listed on the American Nasdaq stock exchange, will attend DINETEC 2025 (Business and Technology Day).
The event is being held this week in Canarana, in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, with AgroPages in attendance.
This year's DINETEC edition comes with positive recovery prospects for Brazil's input distribution sector after two years of crisis. Even during last year's challenging scenario, the previous DINETEC edition in 2024 gathered around 17,600 people and featured more than 130 stands and 450 brands on-site. Throughout the three-day event, over BRL 1.8 billion in closed deals were recorded.
"This will be Lavoro's seventh consecutive participation, and we're certain it will be another success," explained Jones Dal Magro, Commercial Director of Lavoro's North Cluster. According to him, the goal is to present Lavoro's product and service solutions to customers and launch a business for the Brazilian 2025/26 crop season.
Lavoro is present with a "complete stand" to receive farmers, partners, and the general public, featuring the company's latest innovations and initiatives, such as agricultural insurance, soil analysis, and metagenomic tools.
The program also includes the "Momento de Fala" lecture series, an opportunity for the company to give voice to its partners. Presenting current agribusiness topics, the lectures will be held at Lavoro's stand on January 16 and 17, 2025, bringing discussions about fungicide use, production techniques adopted in the Brazilian cerrado, and weed and sucker management in soybean and corn systems.
"The Central-West is a critical region for us. We have a powerful presence in Mato Grosso, and our goal is to further strengthen relationships with local clients. Participating in DINETEC is also an excellent opportunity to win new customers and present Lavoro's extensive solutions portfolio to the entire market," the director added.
For the company, DINETEC will also be a moment of exchange and proximity with agricultural input industry partners. "We thank everyone who is part of our history, who contributed to the positive results we achieved along this journey, and who helped us build solid pillars to reach higher flights," Dal Magro said in conclusion.
DINETEC
As one of the country's leading agricultural sector fairs, DINETEC aims to align technology and sustainability with the main trends and launches across various Brazilian agribusiness crops, such as soybeans, corn, cotton, and sesame. Technological innovations in seeds, inputs, agricultural machinery, and others are also on the agenda.
Lavoro is Brazil's largest agricultural input distributor and the first in Latin America to be listed on the American Nasdaq stock exchange. Founded in 2017, it has a broad geographical presence, operating in Brazil, Colombia, Uruguay, and Ecuador. It serves about 77,000 clients in Latin America and has a team of more than 1,000 technical sales consultants.
