FMC brought its leading solutions and services to DINETEC – Business and Technology Day 2025, an event covered by AgroPages.
The company highlighted products for soybean, corn, and cotton crops and the digital pest monitoring tool Arc™ farm intelligence.
Among the portfolio highlights is the Onsuva® fungicide, a product formulated with a novel carboxamide, fluindapyr, and a triazole, difenoconazole. With superior selectivity that alleviates plant injury from the first applications, the solution is recommended to combat major fungal diseases in soybeans and cotton, such as target spot (Corynespora cassiicola), brown spot (Septoria glycines), cercospora leaf blight (Cercospora kikuchii), powdery mildew (Microsphaera diffusa), and Asian rust (Phakopsora pachyrhizi); and in cotton cultivation, it fights the main crop spots, such as Ramulosis (Colletotrichum gossypii), Alternaria (Alternaria alternata), and Ramularia (Ramulariopsis pseudoglycines).
Another innovative solution from FMC is Premio® Star, which, besides avoiding tank mixing, has a broad control spectrum and long residual effect. It also features Rynaxypir caterpillar control, a potent insecticide. This exclusive technology has very high performance for chewing and sucking insects, being indicated for 50 biological targets in more than 50 crops. Premio® Star has a dual mode of action, broad-spectrum, shock and residual effect, less rain wash-off, and operational optimization.
A launch in FMC's herbicide line, Azugro® is formulated with the exclusive Isoflex® active molecule. Indicated for cotton cultivation, the product has high selectivity, which contributes to increased productivity and superior control of resistant weeds. The molecule's novelty contributes to resistance management and also to more product effectiveness in crops, providing better control of invasive plants, extended residual effect, and operational simplification, besides keeping the field clean and free from weed competition.
Also, for weed control, another FMC recommendation during DINETEC will be Reator®, a selective pre-emergent herbicide that can be used even with emerged soybeans. Its high selectivity allows the farmer to extend the application window. This operational flexibility is only possible due to FMC's exclusive microencapsulated technology.
The highlight of the biologicals portfolio will be the bio fungicide Provilar®, which has a triple mode of action – antibiosis, competition, and systemic resistance induction and features a formulation technology where Bacillus are in endospore form, allowing its use in association with other chemical products. The product is indicated for the management of various diseases, such as target spot and septoria leaf spot (Septoria lycopersici), in the initial stages of soybean cultivation. It allows foliar management in a preventive and prolonged manner.
Arc™ farm intelligence
During DINETEC, FMC will also present the Arc™ farm intelligence platform, capable of predicting pest pressure with over 90% accuracy. This platform generates more assertive crop protection applications to ensure farmer productivity and profitability. FMC's mobile tool also features regional weather forecasting in partnership with IBM and patented technology that can immediately identify which pest is in the trap. Pressure history is available to producers as an additional aid for decision-making, facilitating regional management and a future predictive model.
