At the opening of the Brazilian agricultural calendar, UbyAgro Group made its presence felt at Agroshow Copagril 2025 at the Copagril Agroindustrial Cooperative Experimental Station in the Brazilian state of Paraná.
Under the theme "The Future is Agro," the event aimed to connect producers, suppliers, and other agribusiness supply chain agents in one of the country's most crucial agribusiness frontiers.
UbyAgro holding, which includes input companies Ubyfol and Vitales among its leading brands, announced that the special fertilizer Exseleny (Selenium (Se), Nickel (Ni) and Cobalt (Co), aminogram) could be applied to soybean crops. According to the manufacturer, it is an "innovative" biostimulant developed to "bring a series of benefits to plant metabolism and enhance its physiological development."
UbyAgro's Regional Manager, Lean Pizaia, emphasized that Exseleny's major differential lies in the presence of elements such as Se, Ni, and Co, along with an aminogram specifically directed at combating stress.
"Selenium plays a vital role in plant health by activating the enzymatic and non-enzymatic complex responsible for ROS reduction. Unstable and extremely reactive, such molecules are generated in large quantities during stress periods, a condition that affects other molecules like proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, and nucleic acids," the manager explained.
According to him, nickel also helped eliminate ROS, promoting more vigorous and healthy plant development while also acting in nitrogen metabolism. Cobalt, in turn, completed this combat by preventing increased ethylene levels, another consequence of plant stress.
The holding company reported that the product was technologically developed to combat stress and boost productivity during soybean cultivation. According to them, Exseleny's efficiency was also proven in other crops, such as corn, sugarcane, cotton, and coffee.
The holding company provided a team of plant nutrition and bio-input specialists in its booth to offer support and share technical information about the Group's technological solutions. Additionally, they promoted field interactions and demonstrations for soybean and other crop producers planning to achieve greater management efficiency and high productivity.
"Copagril is a highly prestigious cooperative and one of the main references in that region of Paraná," stressed UbyAgro's Regional Manager, Lean Pizaia.
"As a strategic client for our Group, we sought to strengthen our partnership with the entity in 2024 and stay close to the cooperative members. It is a relationship that will certainly be expanded even more this year through a series of joint activations, such as courses, training, and field demonstrations of our solutions," he said in conclusion.
