The data was released last week during the Brazil Biological Inputs Forum, organized by CropLife Brasil (CLB) with special coverage by AgroPages.

The projection represented a 13% increase compared to the 2023-2024 season and a 22% jump from the 2022-2023 season across Brazil's major crops. Sales showed an average growth of 6% over the past three years, while volume increased by an average of 13% during the same period, according to CLB's statistical panel data, which includes the latest quarterly results.

According to CLB's Biological Inputs Director, Amália Borsari, the fourth quarter is expected to be the most important for the industry in terms of sales and volume. "The demand for biological inputs continues to trend upward, and ongoing innovation will be even more essential to maintain this trajectory long-term," Borsari projected.

The synergistic management of biological and chemical inputs remains an opportunity to intensify management practices across major crops. "Integrated management aims to maximize efficiency in controlling insects or diseases in soybeans, for example, during various growing stages," she said in conclusion.
