Syngenta highlights acaricide insecticide JOINER at Hortitec

At Hortitec, the largest Brazilian fruit and vegetable event, JOINER^®, Syngenta highlighted the acaricide insecticide composed of PLINAZOLIN^® technology, which arrived to transform pest management in fruits and vegetables. 

The solution is recommended for more than 100 crops, including potatoes, tomatoes, onions, citrus, melon, watermelon, pumpkin, zucchini, garlic, eggplant, chayote, cucumber, peppers, pepper and okra.  

JOINER^® presented producers with a new concept delivering + INNOVATION, composed of a new mode of action and unprecedented chemical group, + CONTROL, with its high effectiveness of the main fruit and vegetable pests and + SPECTRUM, excellence in the management of a broad spectrum of pests. In addition, it delivered a long period of control due to the high adherence of PLINAZOLIN^® technology to the leaves, low washing by rain, and low degradation by ultraviolet rays.

″Due to its intrinsic characteristics, the performance of JOINER^® is unaffected when applied together with fungicides or herbicides, being compatible with most recommended applications, and not requiring an adjuvant. It is a product designed for our environmental conditions, prevalent in tropical countries, which is why it offers producers a new level of control over the main pests that affect horticulture,″ Fink reinforced. 

This new Syngenta solution, launched in the second half of last year, delivered even more benefits to the farmer, as it featured high selectivity, a low grace period and high flexibility. JOINER^® also broke the pest cycle, acting on all its phases due to its ovi-larvicidal effect, enabling unprecedented control against most of the main pests of fruit and vegetable crops.
