Insecticides India plans to launch 3-4 new products in Q1FY25

A Delhi-based agrochemical manufacturer, Insecticides India, expects to launch at least 7-8 new products in FY25 and is set to introduce three to four new products in the first quarter of fiscal year 2025 (Q1FY25), said Rajesh Aggarwal, Managing Director of the company in an interview with CNBC-TV18.

″In the first quarter itself, there will be launch of 3-4 products and remaining products will come in the second quarter,″ he said.

Insecticides India has been a significant player in the agrochemical sector. The company's product Maharatna, which contributes 59% to their B2C revenue, is expected to continue growing its share.

Aggarwal stated that they are targeting 65% of their revenue to come from Maharatna products.

‘We target 65% in the next two years,″ he said.

Currently, B2C sales account for 65% of Insecticides India's total revenue.

The company is also focusing on increasing exports of its next-generation products to enhance its profit margins.

Aggarwal said that while export and domestic margins are broadly similar at present, the push for new-generation product exports should lead to improved overall margins in the future.

″This year we should see our entry into the advanced markets of South America and also in Europe, which will support us. We have the target of improving on our export segment also,″ he said.

Aggarwal mentioned in an earlier interview with CNBC-TV18 that the company has launched two new products in the third quarter: Million, a herbicide for wheat, and Nirog, a bio-fungicide.

The current market capitalisation of the company is ₹1,575 crore.
