"Yara offers products that promote the decarbonization of agriculture," he told AgroPages. He explained that "by introducing sustainable machinery into the field through our distributors, we can help farmers reduce their carbon emissions gradually and eventually receive incentives from the food chain."

ATFARM

One of Yara's innovations at the 2024 CDA was the Atfarm tool, which enables the use of satellite images and indices developed by the company to understand plot variability easily. This involves identifying areas with higher and lower yield potential and adjusting the nitrogen dose, accordingly, leading to greater efficiency in the use of this essential nutrient for cereals, as well as a significant reduction in CO2 emissions, Yara added.

"We operate a business model comprising about 17,000 employees and operations in more than 60 countries, with a track record of solid performance," it added.
