Agrocete presents biological ‘3-in-1’ at Expodireto 2024

The Brazilian multinational Agrocete presented NOD PHOS, the first bio-input that combines three mechanisms of action in a single dose and application.

The product, which promotes nitrogen fixation, stimulates growth, and phosphorus solubilization, was launched during Expodireto 2024, one of the world’s largest agribusiness fairs, which was attended by AgroPages.

According to the manufacturer, NOD PHOS can generate average gains of 27% in productivity compared to areas without seed inoculation.

This data was confirmed through research conducted by the State University of Western Paraná (Unioeste), in partnership with Agrocete, after applying only 50% of the recommended phosphorus dose, with and without soybean seed inoculation.

In addition to NOD PHOS, Agrocete presented Breed PRO and Field PRO at Expodireto.

In studies conducted during the previous crop season with these products, a 6.61% increase in productivity was observed, which are significant outcomes sought by farmers.

Regrading sugarcane, during 11 evaluations carried out in commercial areas in the Brazilian state of São Paulo, there were increases in plant height of 9.6% and tiller number of 31.2%.

Regrading soybean grown in areas of the Brazilian states of Minas Gerais and Goiás, there were increases in stand of 6.7%, plant height of 6.5%, and number of pods per plant of 22%.

Adding to studies conducted since the 2021/22 crop season, 86.95% of areas treated with Breed PRO and Field PRO showed positive results in terms of soybean productivity.

Agrocete’s booth also introduced visitors to the company’s ″Productivity Construction″ concept, which aims to help producers reach their ideal productive potential.

The proposal divides the crop cycle into three critical pillars, which are ″Planting, Vigor and Rooting,″ ″Start-up and Growth Strength,″ and ″Application Technology.″

Agrocete said that its goal is to enable producers to reach a productivity rate of 100 sacks/hectare in soybean cultivation.

″We will present the latest releases from the last crop season for the products, NOD PHOS, Breed PRO, and Field PRO,″ said Andrea de Figueiredo Giroldo, Marketing and Technical Development Director of Agrocete.

″All of them are performing well in the field, and we are excited to present them directly to the public at such an important event, as well as to hear from producers about their impressions of these innovations,″ she said.
