Two new pesticide common names bentioflumin and feneptamidoquin provisionally approved by ISO

Two new pesticide common names have recently been provisionally approved by ISO.

Bentioflumin

New common name provisionally approved for an acaricide from Shandong Kangqiao Bio-technology Co. Chinese common name 苯苄螨胺.

methyl 2-[[[4-chloro-2-fluoro-5-[(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)thio]phenyl]amino]methyl]benzoate [2566451-67-8]

Please contact the Maintenance Agency no later then 28th August 2024 for any objections (for example, the name ″bentioflumin″ infringes on any trademarks). If no objections are received, then the name ″bentioflumin″ will become approved and will be included in the March 2025 update of the XML data set that is available to everyone who purchases ISO 1750:2023.

Feneptamidoquin

New common name provisionally approved for a quinoline fungicide from Syngenta Crop Protection. Development code SYN551769.

N-[1,3-dimethyl-1-(phenylmethyl)butyl]-8-fluoro-3-quinolinecarboxamide [2132414-04-9]
