USDA: Amendments to the pale cyst nematode regulations

Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is amending the domestic quarantine regulations for pale cyst nematode by adding procedures that allow persons to review and comment on the protocols for regulating and deregulating quarantined and associated areas. As part of this action, APHIS has made the protocols available online. They are taking these actions in response to a court order requiring the APHIS to provide a means for public input on the protocols they use to deregulate fields for pale cyst nematode and to make the protocols publicly available. These changes make the protocols accessible to all and give persons the opportunity to comment on them.
DATES: Effective January 28, 2021.
