India CIBRC 411st meeting: 21 TC and 27 Formulation products registrations got approved

The Indian Central Insecticides Board and Registration Committee (CIBRC) approved 21 registrations of pesticide technical and 27 formulations at the meeting of the Registration Committee on Dec. 2nd, 2019, including 8 herbicides, 16 insecticides, 5 fungicides and 19 bio-pesticides.
For registration type, 8 bio-pesticides products got 9(3b) extension of validity period of provisional certificate of registration. And 2 household insecticides of M/s Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. are under Section 9 (3) of the Insecticides Act 1968.
As to the holders, Willowood Chemical Pvt. Ltd. got the most 5 registrations, Best Crop Science LLP, Sumisho Agro India Pvt. Ltd., IRA Biotech. and Asia Dawn Bio Care. got 3 registrations respectively; for product, Trichoderma viride WP(1.0%, 1.5%) got the most 7 registrations.
The details are as follows:
9 (3)*: registration only for export, belongs to 9(3) registrations
9(3) registrations: This guideline is for registering a new pesticide (technical grade or formulation) or registering a new import source of technical grade pesticide or first time indigenous manufacture of technical grade pesticide or formulation. This is a permanent registration and does not require any renewal.
9(4) registrations: This is Me-too registration for indigenous manufacture of technical grade pesticide and formulations and import of pesticides from already registered source.
