Makhteshim Agan of North America, Inc. (MANA) has received California registration of Nevado™ 4F iprodione fungicide.
The product is approved for use on almonds and other California specialty crops, including lettuce, onions, carrots, potatoes, grapes, and peaches.
Nevado 4F provides early protection against a broad spectrum of key almond diseases, including blossom blight/brown rot, shot hole, Alternaria leaf spot, and jacket rot, making it an excellent foundation in a resistance management program.
Nevado is labeled for up to four applications in almonds, beginning with 1 pint per acre at pink bud. Under conditions conducive to disease development, follow with up to three additional applications time for full bloom, petal fall, and up to five weeks after petal fall. Nevado is also registered in almonds as a tank mix partner with Captan® 50 WP to control brown rot/blossom blight, shot hole, scab, and Anthracnose.
